Sham Lal starts development projects, promises better infrastructure for residents of Jammu North

JAMMU: Continuing his commitment to infrastructure development and public welfare, Sham Lal Sharma, MLA Jammu North and former Minister of Jammu & Kashmir, on Thursday laid the foundation stones for two significant development projects in Ward No. 38, Janipur.
These projects, aimed at addressing the long-pending demands of the residents, include the construction of lanes and drains at Sultanpura and Nasseb Nagar with an estimated cost of Rs 35.10 lakh and at Basant Nagar with an estimated cost of Rs 60 lakh.
Addressing the gathering, Sham Lal Sharma reaffirmed his dedication to the overall development of his constituency.
He said, “The projects launched today are a burning demand of the people in these areas. My commitment to the residents of Jammu North is unwavering, and I will continue to work tirelessly to improve infrastructure and bring more development to the region.”
Highlighting India’s progress under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Sharma remarked, “Under the stewardship of the Prime Minister, India is scaling new heights of development. Tremendous progress is visible across all sectors and segments, and various mega projects initiated across the country will lead us into a new era of growth and prosperity.”
The foundation stone-laying ceremony was attended by local residents, prominent community leaders, BJP workers, and officials, who lauded Shri Sharma’s consistent efforts to address the needs of the people and his focus on grassroots development.
Other prominent who were present are Mandal President (BJP Janipur Mandal)- Raveesh Mengi Ex. Councillor Ward No. 38 – Surinder Sharma, XEn JMC Nawaz Banday, AEE JMC Hilal Wani, JE JMC Ranjan Sharma, Mandal General Secretary Sanjay Bhat were present.
