SAMBA: Highlighting the crucial and transformative role of the BJP in giving impetus to development as per the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi post 2019 in Jammu and Kashmir, MLA Samba Surjeet Singh Slathia said that every effort will be made to pursue this agenda despite being in the opposition to ensure welfare and prosperity of the people.
Interacting with people, after kick-starting macadamization of Samba Mansar Double Road at an estimated cost of Rs 80 lakhs, Slathia said that a strong infrastructural edifice has been laid during the past five years that is needed to be sustained and carried forward in a missionary mode.
“Our collective efforts are aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision of a self-reliant and inclusive Jammu and Kashmir. The steps taken in education, healthcare, employment, and connectivity have brought remarkable progress, and we must carry this forward with dedication and unity,” he said, hoping that the people will play a participatory role in development by monitoring the schemes.
Slathia referred to the measures taken for enhanced infrastructure in terms of highways, bridges and road connectivity carried out in the recent past to boost economic opportunities. He said the interests of every segment were taken care of, especially the youth by launching skill development to channelize their energies towards positive pursuits. The tourism revival has been a focused area that benefitted both the regions by way of fillip to pilgrim and adventure tourism.
Slathia said the BJP will work in a mission mode to realize the PM’s vision of Naya Jammu and Kashmir.
The BJP MLA and Pradesh Vice President exhorted the Karykartas to remain proactive in seeking redressal to the public grievances and assured the locals that all the issues raised during his visit would be taken up at appropriate levels for redressing these earnestly.
