BJP celebrates Deepawali with fervour

JAMMU: J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina, Working President Sat Sharma, former Dy CM Kavinder Gupta, National Secretary Dr Narinder Singh (MLA), along with senior leaders celebrated “Deepawali Milan” at BJP Headquarters, Jammu.
Ravinder Raina, while speaking on the occasion, wished the countrymen and party leaders on the auspicious occasion of Diwali and prayed to God Almighty to bestow peace and happiness upon the vast lands of the Nation and whole world.
He said that with the gleam of lights and echoes of prayers, this Deepawali finishes all the darkness of evil and hasten the return of light to those who are still in voyage of destiny. He said that the Diwali bestows health, happiness and cleanliness of souls.
Sat Sharma said that on the day of celebration of the God Ram’s return to Ayodhya after victory of demons, we must pledge to weed out terrorism and other evils from the society and return to eternal path of love and brotherhood. He wished for the peace and prosperity in the region and prayed for the health and happiness of all.
BJP leaders performed Pooja, distributed sweets and burst crackers, while wishing happiness, success and health to each other and the mankind.
MLAs Yudhvir Sethi, Arvind Gupta, Ch Vikram Randhawa, Aseem Gupta, Priya Sethi, Adv Sunil Sethi, Munish Sharma, Tilak Raj Gupta, Dr Pardeep Mahotra, Brig Anil Gupta, Rajni Sethi, Dr Tahir Choudhary, Ankit Gupta, Rekha Mahajan, Prem Gupta, Ved Sharma, Ankush Mahajan, Neha Mahajan, and others were present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, BJP Working President Sat Sharma, former MP Shamsher Singh Manhas, MLAs Yudhvir Sethi & Arvind Gupta, Dr Pardeep Mahotra, Sanjita Dogra, Parmod Kapahi celebrated Deepawali at party office, Kachi Chawni Jammu.
