JK Public School Kunjwani holds enthralling Annual Aquatic Meet

JAMMU: JK Public School, Kunjwani, hosted its much-anticipated Annual Aquatic Meet on Thursday featuring an exciting range of swimming events and cultural activities.
The function was presided over by the Chairman of JK Educational Society Raj Daluja, Patron of JK Educational Society Neelam Daluja, Member of Management Gautam Daluja, Director of JK Educational Society Shashi Chaudhary, Principal of JK Public School Kunjwani, Rajesh Rathore, Vice Principal Roopinder Kaur, School Coordinator Inderjeet Kaur, Primary Wing Coordinator Anju Raj and parents of all the participants.
The event commenced with a beautiful Welcome Song by the School Choir, setting the tone for an invigorating day. As per the tradition, Taaranjeet Kour, parent of Ishani Khanna, a student of class III-Kaveri was chosen as the Chief Guest from the August gathering of parents present at the occasion.
She was presented with a bouquet by Chairman Raj Daluja. The Puja of the Pool was performed with reverence, symbolizing the official inauguration of the meet.
The Program began with the welcome address by the Vice Head Boy and he extended his warm greetings to the gathering. The School Choir initiated the program with the soul-stirring School Song, reflecting the school’s spirit and values.
The Chief Guest then declared the Aquatic Meet open, after which the Houses marched past the cheering audience in a display of unity and discipline. The meet featured thrilling rounds of aquatic events.
It was a display of beautiful athleticism and sportsmanship as swimmers dove into the inviting water speedily. The clappers and splashes echoed throughout the swimming pool with enthusiastic swimmers diving in and climbing out of the pool.
Entertaining dance performances between the events delighted the spectators.
The first round of prize distribution celebrated the outstanding achievements of young swimmers, followed by a traditional Dogri Folk Dance that brought the local culture to life.
The second round of aquatic events saw more intense competition. The prizes for the Best Swimmers were bagged by Jaivardhan Singh of class XI and Divyanshi Damral of class IX, both demonstrated exceptional skills and sportsmanship in the pool. The best house trophy was bagged by Bhagat Singh House, then the Head Girl delivered a heartfelt Vote of Thanks, expressing gratitude to all who contributed to the success of the event.
As the Chief Guest declared the meet closed, the event concluded with the National Anthem, marking the end of an eventful and inspiring day.
