JAMMU: In an exciting prelude to the upcoming Legends Cricket Tournament, renowned international and national-level cricketers George Worker from New Zealand, Shaun Marsh from Australia, Peter Trevor from England, and Sachin Rana from India visited the Jammu Tawi Golf Course, Sidhra, today.
The world-class sportsmen took a break from the cricketing pitch to enjoy a friendly game of golf at one of India’s most picturesque and challenging courses.
Jammu Tawi Golf Course, known for its breathtaking views and demanding terrain, provided the perfect backdrop for these athletes. It is a regular host for the prestigious Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), which is scheduled to be held later this month in the third week of October 2024.
The cricketers expressed their admiration for the course’s beauty and the challenges it presents. George Worker praised the lush greenery and the impeccably maintained fairways, saying, “It’s rare to find a course that not only tests your skill but also allows you to soak in such scenic beauty.” Shaun Marsh added, “This course is one of the toughest I’ve played, but the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. It’s definitely one of the finest courses I’ve seen in India.” Sachin Rana also echoed the positive sentiments, noting, “It was a great time spent with fellow cricketers on a course that’s truly world-class.
