SRINAGAR: Taekwondo Association of District Srinagar shall hold two-day 14th District Srinagar Taekwondo Championships under the aegis of J&K Taekwondo Association and J&K Sports Council (JKSC) at Indoor Hall, Polo Ground, here from September 27. The competition is open for Sub Junior, Cadet, Junior and Senior registered players of players of district Srinagar, a handout issued here today said. Selected players out of this event shall represent Srinagar in the upcoming 27th J&K UT Taekwondo Championships.
Only the medalist in the aforesaid championships shall be eligible to take part in the upcoming UT event. No entries will be accepted without the JKTA License. Black Belt certificates are compulsory for senior athletes in order to qualify for the 27th J&K-UT Taekwondo Championships 2024-25 as per the guidelines of the Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI). All players are advised to report to Indoor Hall, Polo Ground, Srinagar on September 26 at 5 pm sharp for weigh-in along with complete registration forms duly signed by parents with Adhaar Card, JKTA License and Date of Birth certificate attached.
