JK Public School Panjtirthi holds career counseling & motivational session

JAMMU: Career counselling is vital for school students especially for the ones of higher grades who are on the verge of choosing a new stream or specialization. It helps them choose the stream based on their interest and capability. Surveys state, there are many instances where lack of correct guidance has demotivated the student causing them to leave their streams halfway.
The faculty members of Vidyamandir Educational institution visited JK Public School Panjtirthi for a career counseling and motivational session.
Tarun Gupta, the Business Head Vidhyamandir, Manik Mahajan, the counselor and senior faculty physics, Sushil Kumar Academic counsellor guided the students of class 8th, 9th and 10th.
For their academic and career journey and empowered them with the knowledge about the skills required to build self esteem and self confidence to pursue their goals.
During the session, the resource Persons discussed various strategies for identifying personal strengths and interests, the importance of aligning career choices with these attributes, the benefits of early planning and preparation, the methodology and significance of UPSC and the value of other competitive exams.
They urged the students not to make decisions based on peer pressure. Students were made aware of the different options in profession and courses they could pursue based on the subject choices they would make.
The motivational speech for students was a carefully crafted oration designed to inspire and encourage young individuals towards their educational journey and to ignite their passion for learning.
The session was immensely enriching and interesting as the students were apprised about various career possibilities and demands and different tips to lead a disciplined life.
They further informed the students about national Olympiad by Vidyamandir which will be held in future.
Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah expressed, “At JKPS Panjtirthi, we are committed to empower students through such sessions, helping them navigate and plan their future paths.”
