India’s Traditional Archery team set to compete in 5th World Nomad Games

LEH: The 5th World Nomad Games, recognized as the largest and most prestigious event of its kind, commenced today in Astana, Kazakhstan.
The inauguration ceremony marked the official start of the games, which will run from September 8 to 15, 2024. India’s Traditional Archery team, representing the Traditional Archery Society of Ladakh, is poised to compete among the world’s finest.
This year’s games feature 92 countries and 4,000 athletes across a diverse array of disciplines.
In Traditional Archery alone, 120 players are set to showcase their skills across three distinct distances: 70 meters, 60 meters, and 30 meters.
The inauguration ceremony celebrated the rich heritage and cultural significance of the games, setting the stage for a week of intense competition and camaraderie.
The Indian team is ready to display their expertise and contribute to the vibrant tapestry of the World Nomad Games.
