Dozens of SC/ST people join BJP, pledge to work for Party’s success in Assembly polls

JAMMU: The graph of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is going up with each passing day as people are coming forward to join and further strengthen this party in the Union Territory.
This was stated by Yudhvir Sethi, senior BJP leader and contesting candidate for Jammu East Constituency, while speaking at the joining programme held here on Sunday. Today dozens of people from SC & ST communities including youth and women joined the Bharatiya Janata Party during a programme held at Sidhra. Earlier, Yudhvir Sethi also inaugurated Party’s Election Office at Sidhra.
Addressing the gathering of newly joined members and party workers, Sethi emphasized the growing support for the BJP in Jammu and Kashmir. He emphasized the pivotal role the BJP has played in the upliftment and empowerment of marginalized sections, especially under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He highlighted the various schemes and initiatives launched by the Central Government that directly benefit the SC/ST communities, including social welfare programs, educational scholarships, and employment opportunities.
Sethi said, “The BJP has always been committed to ensuring equality and providing opportunities to the underprivileged sections of society. The overwhelming support we are witnessing today from the SC/ST communities reflects their faith in the vision of Prime Minister Modi and the development agenda of the BJP.” He stated that people across the region, akin to other parts of the country, recognize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s sincere commitment to the development and welfare of the nation’s 140 crore citizens.
Highlighting the Prime Minister’s relentless efforts over the past ten years, Yudhvir Sethi praised Narendra Modi as the ‘Man of Development in India.’ He noted the significant achievements in Jammu and Kashmir, including unprecedented mega projects in health, education, road infrastructure, connectivity, and overall development, fostering peace and progress in the region.
The senior BJP leader asserted that the people of Jammu and Kashmir have already decided to vote for the BJP in the upcoming elections, expressing their desire for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to form the next Government in Jammu and Kashmir. The people’s faith in Modi’s leadership stems from their aspiration to see the nation continue its journey toward becoming a global leader (‘Vishwa Guru’).
Sethi urged the party cadre to redouble their efforts in disseminating the diverse array of transformative programs and policies championed by the Modi government. He stressed the critical importance of connecting with the public at the grassroots level, underlining that effective communication is paramount in ensuring that the citizens are well-informed about the government’s initiatives.
The newly joined members expressed their admiration for the party’s inclusive policies and development-oriented governance, with many praising the Modi Government’s initiatives for uplifting the socio-economic status of disadvantaged communities.
