The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban and Rural) aims to provide affordable housing to all by 2022, addressing the housing deficit and improving living standards. The Smart Cities Mission, launched in June 2015, aims to develop 100 smart cities across India. This project focuses on creating urban spaces that are sustainable, efficient, and technologically advanced. Improvements in urban infrastructure, including transportation and sanitation, are key components of this mission.
