Jammu to host Legends League Cricket match on Oct 6

JAMMU: The third leg of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) will be held at Maulana Azad Stadium, Jammu, starting October 6, 2024. Following a successful previous edition in Jammu, the league is set to return to this venue due to the enthusiastic crowd support. This season will kick off at Barkatullah Khan Stadium, Jodhpur, on September 20, and also feature matches at Lalbhai Contractor Stadium, Surat, before reaching Jammu. The grand finale will be hosted at Bakshi Stadium, Srinagar, marking cricket’s return to Kashmir after 40 years. Raman Raheja, CEO of LLC, expressed excitement about returning to Jammu and bringing cricket back to Srinagar, offering fans a rare opportunity to witness live matches after decades. The previous season captivated 180 million viewers across India with thrilling matches and star players like Suresh Raina and Chris Gayle. This season promises to be even more spectacular with an extended schedule and notable new entrants, including recently retired Shikhar Dhawan.
An auction for over 200 players will be held in New Delhi on August 29, 2024, where franchises will vie for top cricketing talent from around the world.
