JK Public School Kunjwani organizes Inter-School Skating Competition

JAMMU: JK Public School organized a highly anticipated Inter-School Roller Skating Competition in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Roller Skating Association drawing participants from ten schools across the region.
The opening ceremony was graced by the Founder Member of JK Educational Society Pushpa Chawla , worthy Patron Neelam Daluja, Chairman Raj Daluja, Member of Management Gautam Daluja, Director Shashi Choudhary, Principal Rajesh Rathore, Vice Principal Roopinder Kour & School Coordinator Inderjeet Kour.
More than 250 skaters from top-notched CBSE Schools around the City participated in this competition. The schools participated in this mega competitions are Jodhamal Public School, Heritage School, IDPS Jammu, Doon International School, KC International School, APS Ratnuchak, DPS Jammu, Air Force School Jammu, KV Jammu Cantt and JK Public School, Kunjwani.
The event showcased the remarkable talents of young skaters who competed fiercely in different age categories. The competition featured several types of skating under various categories: Speed – Inline, Loose-Bearing, Quad Jones Skate, Inline Jones Skate. Participants also competed in races over the following distances, 500 meters – a sprint distance that tested the skaters’ speed and stamina and 1000 meters – a longer race that required endurance and strategic pacing. The skating competition successfully brought together young skaters from various age groups and skill levels. By offering multiple categories and race distances, the event provided a platform for skaters to showcase their talents and compete against their peers in a structured and supportive environment. The division of age groups and skating types ensured that each participant had the opportunity to perform to the best of their abilities, contributing to a vibrant and competitive atmosphere.
The participants were judged by an expert panel of professional skaters and coaches, ensuring a fair and competitive environment. The winners were awarded medals and certificates, recognizing their outstanding performances.
The coaches and HOD (Sports) JK Public School Kunjwani, Subash Chander were also felicitated for conducting this mega event meticulously.
