JK Public School Kunjwani celebrates Krishna Janmashtami with enthusiasm

JAMMU: JK Public School, Kunjwani, came alive with the joyous celebration of Krishna Janmashtami on Friday. The celebration was marked by a series of performances that highlighted the cultural rich ness and devotion associated with the birth of Lord Krishna.
The dignitaries present on the occasion were Director, JK Educational Society Shashi Chaudhary; Principal JK Public School Kunjwani, Rajesh Rathore; Vice Principal, Roopinder Kour; School Coordinator, Inderjeet Kour; Academic Coordinator, Parvinder Kour; Coordinators Primary Wing Anju Raj & Toddlers World Coordinator, Shivangani Pandotra. The programme commenced with a prayer, setting a pious tone for the festivities, which was followed by the School Song, which always creates a sense of unity and pride among the students and staff. A beautiful rendition of the Bhajan “Choti Cho Madhani Le Gaya,” left all spell bound and filled the air with devotional fervour. Students from the primary wing show cased their talent through a vibrant dance performance, followed by an engaging speech by a student from class VIII Maple. The toddlers then tookup the stage, captivating the audience with their adorable dance performances and the middle wing students also enthralled everyone with a dramatic enactment titled “Kaliya Naag Mardan Leela,” depicting a famous episode from Krishna’s childhood. They also presented a captivating dance performance that added to the celebration’s festive spirit.
Principal, JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore in his address to the gathering, praised the students for their efforts, emphasizing the importance of cultural and spiritual education. He lauded the adorable character of Lord Krishna, the eighth incarnation of Mahavishnu, the God of protection, compassion, love and tenderness. He advised students to be the harbingers of hope, light and joy when dark ness prevails around and follow the path of piety to reach their destination. The event concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone with a sense of pride and fulfillment. The Krishna Janmashtami celebration at JK Public School, Kunjwani, was a true testament to the school’s commitment to blend tradition with education, ensuring that students remain connected to their cultural roots while excelling in their academic pursuits.
