JAMMU: The Srinagar District Fencing Association, in collaboration with J&K Sports Council, organized 8th Srinagar District Fencing Championship at Indoor Sports Complex Srinagar.
The two days event saw a participation of 70 budding fencers from district Srinagar who participated in Epee, Foil and Sabre events. Nusrat Gazala, Divisional Sports Officer (Kashmir) of the J&K Sports Council, was the chief guest while Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar and others were among the guests of honour.
Razia Sultan was the organizing secretary of the event which held under the guidance of Vansh Mahajan. Aiyaz Ahmad, president, Srinagar District Fencing Association and Sameer Muzaffar Mir, general secretary, Srinagar District Fencing Association congratulated all the medal winners and whole organizing committee for successful conduct of the said championship.
