District Jammu secures victory in U-14 Boys football final at Khel Goan

NAGROTA: The Inter-District Provincial Level Football Tournament for U-14 boys culminated in an impressive final match at Khel Goan Nagrota, where District Jammu claimed the title by defeating District Kishtwar with a commanding 3-0 score.
This tournament featured six districts from the Jammu Division and was held over two days.
The event was inaugurated by the Joint Director of Youth Services and Sports (YSS) Jammu, and was conducted under the patronage of the Director General of Youth Services and Sports JK UT, with overall supervision by DYSSO Jammu.
The tournament aimed to provide a competitive platform for young football enthusiasts from various districts.
On the second day of the tournament, the semi-final matches set the stage for the final showdown.
In the first semi-final, District Jammu faced District Kathua and emerged victorious with a dominant 4-0 win. District Jammu’s performance was marked by skillful play and effective teamwork, which allowed them to secure their place in the final.
The second semi-final saw District Kishtwar go up against District Rajouri. District Kishtwar advanced to the final with a decisive 3-0 victory, showcasing their strong performance and determination throughout the match.
The final match between District Jammu and District Kishtwar was a highly anticipated encounter. District Jammu demonstrated their prowess on the field with goals from Aneesh, Daman, and Ummer Nisar, each contributing to the 3-0 victory.
