BISHNAH: The Department of Youth Services and Sports, Zone Bishnah, on Tuesday organized the Inter-School Zonal Level Selection cum Trials for boys and girls in the under-19 age group.
The event was held under the guidance of District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu, Sunil Kumar, and the overall supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer Bishnah, Surbjeet Kour.
The games were officially inaugurated by Anju Gupta, Principal of GGHSS Bishnah, who encouraged the participants to engage in sports for their future well-being.
The trials included competitions in Table Tennis and Basketball.
Nirmal Singh (PEL GGHSS Bishnah), Manjit Kour (National Basketball Player PET GBMS Bishnah), Vishal Verma (National Basketball Player, GGHSS Bishnah), Satinder Singh (PET GHS Deoli), and Arjun Singh (REK GHS Nougran) officiated the Basketball events.
For Table Tennis, Bindesh Singh (PET GHS Chak Murar), Satinder Singh (PET GHS Deoli), and Rekha Rani (PET GGHSS Bishnah) managed the officiating duties with enthusiasm.
The ZPEO Bishnah expressed appreciation for the participants and staff, commending their efforts in ensuring the smooth and successful conduct of the competitions.
