JAMMU: The J&K Government through its Youth Services and Sports Department today released the final merit list of 334 candidates under SO 412 of 2023 (outstanding sportspersons). The list, issued yesterday, shall remain in the public domain for seeking objections, if any, for next 15 days.
Olympian shooter from J&K, Chain Singh tops the merit list which has been prepared by the selection committee in a meeting that took place on July five, 2024.
Earlier, 99 more applications (2023) added to the existing number of 486 (for the quota of calendar year 2014 to 2021) thereby totalling to 585 applications, including 32 forms repeated.
However, the scrutiny committee after scrutinising the applications found 334 candidates provisionally eligible in terms of the conditions stipulated in the advertisement notifications and rules in this regard.
Now, the general merit list, year-wise of the eligible candidates has been published in the public domain for inviting objections, if any, from the interested candidates. Such objections shall be submitted personally at Civil Secretariat at Jammu/Srinagar through the email: [email protected].
