Four absconders apprehended

Ramban: Jammu and Kashmir Police in District Ramban in a significant breakthrough, has successfully arrested four absconders, three were evading arrest since last 24 years and one was evading arrest since last 11years. The arrest of the absconders was made possible by a special team constituted by SSP Ramban Sh. Anuj Kumar IPS. General warrant of arrest against the absconders were issued by the Hon’ble Court.The dedicated team of Police Station Ramban with meticulous efforts and advanced technical assistance arrested the absconders which include Firoz Ahmed, son of Gulam Rasool, from Kulgam, involved in FIR No. 177/2000 U/S 188 RPC, 3 PCA Act, Faiz Ulla, son of Abdulla Wani from Kulgam. Gh Nabi, son of Ghulam Qadir Wani from Kulgam, both were involved in FIR No. 77/2000 U/S 279/427 RPC; Sonu, son of Karan Singh from Palampura, Kulgam, involved in FIR No. 73/2013 U/S 279/337/338 RPC. It is to mention that Parveen Kumar, son of Daleep Singh from Teli Bagwara, Hamirpur, HP, involved in FIR No. 92/2011 U/S 8/15 NDPS Act, was found to have passed away; hence, the search for him was closed upon verification of his death certificate, and a report was submitted to the court of law.
This operation underscores the relentless efforts of the Ramban Police to bring absconders to justice and maintain the rule of law. The arrested individuals were produced before the court of law for further legal proceedings.
