JAMMU: Senior hockey player and coach of district Poonch, Pawan Kumar and Saval Ahmed have qualified Hockey India Education Pathway Basic Level Coaching Course conducted by Hockey India. Now, they (Pawan and Saval) are eligible for attending Level 1 course of the Hockey India. Both have already done Diploma in Sports Coaching from Sports Authority of India (SAI) and many time represented J&K at National level tournaments in different age groups. Pawan Kumar is currently working as Physical Education Lecturer serving with Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), Saval Ahmed works as Hockey Instructor with J&K Sports Council (JKSC) under PMDP at Sports Stadium Poonch. Furthermore, both of them are currently associated with Sham Lal Hockey Club Poonch.
