JKBOSE declares Class 10 result

JAMMU: Girls have excelled again by scoring a pass percentage of 81.10 per cent against 77.33 per cent of the boys in the results of Class 10 Annual Regular 2024 pertaining to Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir besides Ladakh under Uniform Academic Calendar, declared by J&K Board of School Education on Thursday
The examination was conducted in the Soft and Hard Zone areas identified in both the UTs.
The result was declared well in advance as per schedule of Uniform Academic Calendar.
In all, 1,46,136 students were enrolled for this examination out of which 1,15,816 students passed the exams; 71,741 were males and 74,395 were females.

As per the result, 14,115 secured Grade A1, 17,471 got grade A2, 23,365 were placed at grade B1, 29,117 got grade B2, 25,467 got grade C1, 6,269 got C2, and 45 got D grade.
Expressing his satisfaction over the entire examination process of Annual Regular 2024 examination, Chairperson, JKBOSE, Prof. (Dr.) Parikshat Singh Manhas congratulated all the stakeholders and expressed gratitude to the entire UT, divisional and district level administrative machinery, School education Dept., India Posts, whole team of the officers and officials of JKBOSE, teachers who have tirelessly contributed for the smooth conduct of examination followed by cooperation in evaluation and all other people who have directly or indirectly contributed towards the success of this examination.
“It is really a matter of pride to see that girls have secured higher percentage than that of boys. Though it was their first Board examination, but the students have great enthusiasm; the pass percentage of 79.25 per cent is a witness to this fact. I congratulate all the students and teachers for their hard work. Those students who could not make it this time should try again with revised strategies. JKBOSE is consistent in its efforts for upgrading and fine-tuning its mechanisms and processes for the student welfare and I am sanguine that with the implementation of more initiatives in pipeline, many services will be further improved,” he added.
In order to facilitate the access of students to the result gazette, the JKBOSE has made adequate arrangements through various media. Their result has been made available on Digilocker service. For this the students will have to download Digilocker App and register them after filling the required details. The marks sheets are also accessible on Digilocker. The result is also available online on the official website of JKBOSE www.jkbose.nic.in. Those who don’t have access to Mobile Phones or internet can get their results from their nearest JKBOSE office where the soft copies of result gazettes have been provided.
The result is also available in the offices of the Deputy Commissioners of the concerned districts for the convenience of the students and general public.
In case of any query regarding this result, the students have been advised to email their queries, if any, at [email protected] (for Jammu Division) and [email protected] (for Kashmir Division) citing all the relevant details which shall be addressed after due processing at the earliest possible.
The aggrieved students, if any, can contact their respective schools or the nearest JKBOSE Sub/Branch office. JKBOSE provides an opportunity to the students to get a photocopy and re-evaluation of their answer sheets for which they can apply online after the notification is issued in this regard. It is further advised that any student having any query should not panic and should feel free to contact BOSE office or her/his school.
