UDHAMPUR: Jammu and Kashmir secured first gold medal in senior Mixed team Rifle Shooting at the National level in the ongoing 22nd Kumar Surendra Singh Shooting Championship at MP State Shooting Range in Bhopal.
“The gold winner shooters, Vishal Sharma and Aneesha Sharma of the Mission Olympics Shooting Academy Jammu (MOSAJ) have secured the region’s first gold medal in the mixed senior team Rifle shooting event,” a handout issued here today informed.
Guided by the coaches, Vishal Mehra and Aman Singh, the promising senior shooters, Vishal and Aneesha delivered a stellar performance, bringing pride and recognition to J&K in the national shooting arena.
Meanwhile, President of the Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association (JKRA), S.S. Sodhi, along with chairman Kuldeep Singh Jamwal and Chief Executive Officer, Sharat Chandra Singh congratulated the gold winner shooters.
