‘Lallan Ms’ play by Rama Pandey staged in GCW Parade

JAMMU: A play titled “Lallan Ms” written and directed by the theatre personality Rama Pandey was enacted in the Auditorium of GCW Parade Ground Jammu, on Sunday.
Rama Pandey is a revered figure in the Indian theatre scene, renowned for her poignant storytelling and dedication to social issues. With a career spanning decades, Pandey has left an indelible mark on the world of performing arts, captivating audiences with her profound narratives and powerful performances.
Lallan Ms transcends the boundaries of conventional theatre by seamlessly blending authentic music from rural and urban India. With a strong ensemble of 30 artists representing diverse age groups and cultural backgrounds from Delhi and Rajasthan, the play offers a mesmerizing tapestry of talent and cultural richness.
At its heart, Lallan Ms is a compelling narrative that follows the remarkable journey of Lallan, a transgender educator, as they courageously navigate societal discrimination to establish a school for underprivileged children.
