JAMMU: The Home Department on Monday promoted six Deputy Superintendents of Police to the Selection Grade.
“In terms of the Jammu and Kashmir Police (Gazetted) Service Recruitment Rules, 2002, notified vide SRO 132 of 2002 dated 3rd April, 2002, read with Government Order No.653-Home of 2017 dated June 7, 2017, sanction is accorded to the release of the Selection Grade of Deputy Superintendent of Police (Non-functional)-Level 10-A (56600-179800) in the Pay Matrix, in favour of Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir, Harvinder Singh, Ishfaq Alam, Syed Ahmad Badana, Nazir Ahmad and Shamima Bano,” read an order issued by Chandraker Bharti, Principal Secretary, Home Department, J&K.
