POONCH: Police on Monday recovered one minor girl who was kidnapped during the intervening night of Feb 20-21, 2024. The police team of Police Station Poonch headed by Insp. Kunal Singh acted swiftly upon receiving the complaint and conducted investigation to ensure that the minor girl be recovered safely.
In this instance, an information in writing was received on Feb 21, 2024 at Police Station Poonch from the complainant resident of Khanater Tehsil Haveli, Poonch regarding the kidnapping of his minor daughter. Upon receiving this information, a case FIR No. 35/2024, U/S 363 IPC was registered at Police Station Poonch, and an investigation was set into motion. After the strenuous efforts of the police team headed by Insp. Kunal Singh SHO Police Station Poonch under the supervision of DySP Hq K K Sharma, the minor girl was recovered on 25/02/2024 within week’s time the crime was reported. The minor girl has been handed over to CWC after completing legal formalities. Further investigation is going on.
