Grade XI students bid adieu to outgoing batch of 2024 of JKPS Kunjwani amidst gaiety & splendor

JAMMU: A farewell function for the seniors was accorded amidst splendor by the students of class XI in the NELSUM Millenium Hall of JK Public School (JKPS), Kunjwani.
The students were welcomed by the ceremonial Tilak ceremony and ended with the cake cutting ceremony. Among the guests present were Director JK Educational Society Shashi Chaudhary, Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore; Vice Principal, Roopinder Kour and School Coordinator Inderjeet Kour. After the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries along with the Head boy and Head Girl of last year, namely, Shariq and Manyata, the Principal Rathore, in his speech, advised the students to scale greater heights in life with great zeal. He told the students to move stridently ahead towards their set goals and like Arjuna, eye their target and take an aim.
He assured them that if they worked with dedication and perseverance, then success would lick their feet. His mesmerising song “Tumko Dekha Toh Ye Khyal Aayaa” enthralled the audience.
Later Pranav of class XI created a environment of music by his melodious Punjabi songs. The breathtaking melody had engripped everyone amidst loud cheering. The attraction of the function was the array of dances, music and Masti that filled the air with melody and fun. Later, titles were given to the outgoing students which had aptly been selected on their charismatic personalities, so they were well received amidst thunderous applause. The afternoon saw the students expressing their attachment to the school. They were nostalgic as they talked of their memorable time spent here. They were highly emotive. Mustafa of class XII in his speech, talked of his journey from Nursery to class XII which was nothing but a roller coaster ride for him which developed him from a young innocent toddler to a well wizened individual. He was thankful to the School and its management which provided ample opportunities to the students to explore their potential to the fullest.
A beautiful presentation showcased different facets of their everyday school life. The selection of Mr JKPS & Ms JKPS included ramp walking and questionnaire which made the audience go gaga. After the foot-tapping Bhangra, the announcement of Mr & Ms JKPS was done. From the boys category, second runner up was Prabhkaran Singh, first runner up was Siddharth Sambyal. Mustafa Yasir Ganai clinched the coveted title of Mr. JKPS.
In the girls category, second runner up was Diya Sharma, first runner up was Arshiyah Khan. while Mishti Baru was adjudged Ms JKPS for the session 2023-24. Congratulations to all.
The function reached its culmination point with Aashirvachan from Director JK Educational Society Shashi Chaudhary. She enriched them with her pearls of wisdom & wished them good luck for their Board exams as well as future endeavours. She also appreciated the students of Grade XI & their mentors for putting up a memorable function.
