JKPS Kunjwani organizes Capacity Building programme for Teachers on ‘Learning Outcomes & Pedagogies’

JAMMU: To bring forth effective and holistic development among students, JK Public School (JKPS) Kunjwani in collaboration with CBSE Centre of Excellence, Chandigarh organized one day capacity building programme on ‘Learning Outcomes and Pedagogies’ for the teachers.
Principal JK Public School, Rajesh Rathore welcomed all the attendees and the resource people. He invoked teachers to remain attentive throughout the session to learn the pedagogical strategies to attain the state of equilibrium between the Learning Objectives and Learning outcomes to equip & empower their students.
CBSE Master Trainers, namely, Rohini Aima, Principal & Vice Chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School and Arindam Roy Choudhary, Principal GD Goenka Public School Jammu were the resource persons.
Rohini Aima made all the participants aware about different pedagogies and skills to improve teaching learning process. The objective of the workshop was to optimize the pedagogical strategies aiming to achieve the optimum learning outcomes of the students and preparing them for uncharted waters.
Arindam Roy Choudhary shared his expertise to make them understand the mechanism behind designing the learning objectives and outcomes.
He developed several new dimensions in the attendees for activity-based learning, community-based learning, case-based learning, inquiry-based learning, Experiential learning etc.
Teachers from schools of Jammu Region, namely, JKPS Kunjwani, Jodhamal Public School, Heritage School Jammu, APS Jammu Cantt, Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu & Kathua, Carmel Convent School, APS Domana, DPS Jammu, IDPS Jammu, KC Gurukul School, SBYB Vidya Mandir School, J&K Police Public School Miran Sahib, KC International School, St Peters School Jammu, APS Samba, Rich Harvest School Samba, IDRS Jammu and Sainik School Nagrota were present.
Overall it was an engaging and innovative session wherein teachers were apprised about new techniques of teaching.
Vote of thanks was presented by Roopinder Kour, Vice Principal of JK Public School Kunjwani.
Teachers left the venue extremely delighted & overwhelmed while carrying with them various learning takeaways during the course of workshop. Overall, the new innovative techniques were found quite informative and useful.
