Only peaceful environment will pave way for prosperity, development in J&K: Bukhari

SRINAGAR: Apni Party President Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari said that only a durable peace in Jammu and Kashmir will pave the way for a sustained prosperity and development in the region, and it will eventually ensure the economic empowerment of the people.
He made these comments during an event at the party headquarters on Monday.
The event was orginised to give the warm welcome to Advocate Rabia Khursheed, on her joining the party. Ms Rabia hailing from north Kashmir Uri, is a well known social and political activist besides a prominent lawyer.
Reiterating the party’s core agenda, Bukhari said, “Our primary aim is to propel Jammu and Kashmir to new heights of prosperity and development so that people are economically empowered, ensuring the well-being of our young generation as well. We are committed to striving for lasting peace in J&K because we understand that only a peaceful environment will pave the way for the prosperity and development of this region.”
