JAMMU: It is not the farm that makes the farmer, hard work and character makes the farmer. Farmer’s Day was celebrated at JK Public School Panjtirthi.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah addressed the Jakiians and lauded that we celebrate this day to express our sincere thanks to the farmers all around the globe who are supporting everyone to live and make living possible on the earth.
She further remarked that “Once in our life we need a doctor, a lawyer, a policeman and a preacher but every day three times a day we need a farmer.”
Jakiians enacted a skit hinged on the theme “Farming is a profession of hope.”
They also exhibited that a typical Indian farmer’s life is full of trials and tribulations.
Jakiians revealed that a farmer rarely cares for the heat, rains or the cold. He faces all the climatic hardships without any complaints.
The principal conventionally conducted a questionnaire session on the theme of the celebration and winners were awarded with cash prizes.
Nisha Mehra was appreciated by the Principal for conducting the flawless celebration.
