SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, VK Biduri on Wednesday said, that investigation has been started into the multi-crore scam and also cautioned people not to fall prey to such tactics, as there is no proper and legal short cut to money double scheme in the world.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an event at SKICC, VK Biduri, said that the matter has been brought into his notice and security agencies and police are working on technical inputs and we hope in a very short period of time the culprits will brought under the law and proper action will be taken against them.
He said that probe is already underway and they are hopeful that people, who lost their money, will get it back.
“There is always a need to behave cautiously as prevention is better than falling prey to these incidents,” he said. He also appealed to the media to inform people about the scams and frauds.
It may be recalled that a multi-crore scam had surfaced in the Kashmir Valley on Tuesday after several of investors alleged that a private firm had cheated their hard earned money and many YouTubers from Kashmir and Jammu were involved in instigating the affected people.
