JAMMU: Computer Literacy Day was celebrated at J.K Public School Panjtirthi to promote the awareness about the computers.
Jakians anchored the celebration and highlighted that computers have revolutionized the day to day life of human beings and it is at the beck and call of everyone.
Jakians confidently lauded the slogans including ‘Connect, create, and innovate with computer’; ‘Discover the endless possibilities of computers’; and ‘Unleash your full potential with our computers’.
The Principal of JK Public School, Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah expressed that explosion of information technology, the website and the windows have thrown all the knowledge of the world at man’s feet.
“From solving a tiny mathematical problem to research of world’s major issues, Computer is the heart beat of modern world . Let us march together to create a new digital India to empower the nation, ” she said.
She further said, “The only way to celebrate World Computer Literacy Day is by learning and accepting that computers are the future and we must embrace them for a brighter future.” A quiz on computers was also organized by the Principal which made the celebration more lively and interactive. The winners of the quiz was also awarded. The Principal appreciated Pallavi Gupta and Pretty Sabotra for organizing a flawless show.
