Modi Govt empowered all sections in true sense: Sham Sharma

NOWSHERA: Former Minister and BJP JK-UT vice-president Sham Lal Sharma, BJP senior leader and Prabhari district Nowshera-Sunderbani Sanjay Kumar Baru on Wednesday reviewed Booth Jan Samvad and Viksit Bharat programmes and addressed meeting of BJP Nowshera-Sunderbani district chaired by its president Neena Sharma at Lamberi.
Sham Lal Sharma, while speaking in the programmes, said that the Bharatiya Janata Party has remained steadfast on its commitment for the welfare of the needy and neglected sections of the society.
He said that the PM Modi led government has initiated numerous welfare schemes to uplift the people who were left behind in the development and even the basic amenities of life in these 70 years.
Stressing that the people living in the remote rural pockets, the hilly areas and the border areas, have been the worst sufferers along with certain particular social classes like OBCs, SCs, women etc. who were used only as a vote bank by the family based political parties of the nation, he said that it is only the Modi government that gave fair representation and empowerment to all these sections in nine and half years of its government at the centre.
Sanjay Baru said that BJP has practiced the spirit of equality and empowerment of every section in the society in the letter and spirit. He said that the BJP cadre represents the spirit of social service through his/her daily actions, where every activity is directed towards the benefit of society and nation.
He asked the party activists to devote themselves to the mission of PM Modi to achieve the target of an equitable and prosperous nation.
Neena Sharma discussed in detail the progression of Booth Jan Samvad and Viksit Bharat programmes in the district by the local party leaders.
Proceedings of the meeting were conducted by BJP district General Secretary Pritam Sharma and vote of thanks presented by local DDC member Sangeeta Sharma.
BJP leaders Capt. Ramesh Kumar, Mool Raj, Rakesh Raina, BDC chairman Bal Krishan, district office bearers, Mandal presidents and youth leaders were the main speakers for Booth Jan Samvad participated who in these programmes.
