7th Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament

JAMMU: MBS Hockey Club Simbal shall meet Dashmesh Hockey Club Nanak Nagar in the final of 7th Baba Banda Singh Bahadur Memorial Hockey Tournament, organised by Kashmir Sikh Sangat under the aegis of Hockey Jammu and Kashmir at KK Hakku Hockey Stadium, here tomorrow at 2:00 PM.
Earlier in the first semifinal match played on Saturday, Dashmesh Hockey Club Nanak Nagar trounced Air Force Station Jammu by four goals to three. Rajveer Singh from Deshmesh Hockey Club was declared Man of the Match, whi was awarded by the Chief Guest, Charanjit Singh Khalsa (Ex-MLC) and Guest of Honour, Tejwant Singh Reen.
in another semifinal, MBS Hockey Club Simble beat Srinagar XI by five goals to one. Ramandeep Singh of MBS Hockey Club Simble was awarded as Man of the Match. the second match was witnessed by Sant Tejwant Singh as the Chief Guest and Dr. Dhanwant Singh (USA) as the Guest of Honour.
Others present on the occasion were Karamjit Singh President KSS, Tejpal Singh Mehta (Vice President KSS), Suraj Singh (General Secretary KSS), K.N Singh (Treasurer KSS), Popinder Singh, Balbir Singh, Inderjit Singh, Surjit Singh Bali, Paramjit Singh and Ajinder Pal Singh.
Officials of Hockey J&K G.S Bakshi, Rajinder Singh (Former President Hockey India), Rajinder Koul (Senior Vice President Hockey J&K), Daljit Singh (Executive member Hockey J&K), Ishan Sharma (Treasurer Hockey J&K) and Supinder Deep Singh Bakshi (General Secretary Hockey J&K) were also present.
Technical panel comprised of Joginder Singh, Jagjit Singh, Harmanan Singh, Gurpreet Singh, Nazarat Hussain, Sahil Kumar, Ravneet Singh and R.P Sarna.
