JAMMU: The 12-member J&K women Rollball team facilitated by the Secretary, J&K Sports Council (JKSC), Nuzhat Gul for winning third place in the recently held 37th National Games at Goa.
She appreciated the effort put in by the team and their coaching staff and hoped the team will do better in coming championships. The Secretary was informed that J&K team convincingly defeated Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh and Goa before going down to the champion Maharashtra.
Gautam Daluja, president of the Association thanked the Secretary JKSC for the support to the indigenous game of Rollball.
The Team: Khushi Gupta, Arukshita Abrol, Bhavanshi Verma, Antra Mahajan, Ankita Chopra, Ashima Gupta, Ashray Shobna, Suvidha Sarin, Dakshi Lengeh, Komal, Ruhi Rajput and Aysel Dogra.
