JKIIANS shine in Jammu District Grappling Championship, JSSC Athletics Meet 2023-24

JAMMU: In the Jammu District Grappling Championship 2023-24, JK Public School Kunjwani won five Gold, nine Silver and 10 Bronze Medals.
The winners in the girls category include Sana Jamwal and Pragya Choudhary, Gold Medal each. Aaradhya, Tanaya Airawat, Bhavya Bharti, Divyanshi Damral, Akashvi and Teniya Thapa, Silver Medal each. Jasmine, Navreet, Vedanshi, Ridhima Jaral, Sanvi Sharma, Suhani and Ridhima Choudhary, Bronze Medal each. In the Boys category, Harshdeep Singh, Gurpreet Saini and Shivan, Gold Medal each. Saharash Mahajan, Bavish Sudan and Rishi Mahajan, Silver Medal each. Jas Simran Singh, Saksham and Amogh Gupta, Bronze Medal each.
In the annual Atheletic Meet held from 26th-28th Oct 2023, at Sainik School Nagorta, under the banner of Jammu Sahodaya, team JKPS Kunjwani clinched the Runners Up Trophy and won 03 Gold, 03 Silver and 02 Bronze Medals. The proud winners are Saksham Gupta (Gold Medal in Shotput and Silver Medal in Discuss Throw), Vomika Sharma (Gold Medal in Shotput), Shruti Saini (Gold Medal in Discuss Throw), Fazil Akbar (Silver Medal in Short Put), Payal Kumari (Silver Medal in High Jump), Prabhjot Singh (Bronze Medal in High Jump) and Digvijay Singh (Bronze Medal in Long Jump).
Director JK Educational Society, Shashi Chaudhary and School Principal Rajesh Rathore, congratulate the winners and felicitated in the morning assembly. They also lauded the School Athletic Coach Shivdev Singh and Judo Coach Rajesh Kumar Verma and HOD (Sports) Subash Chander for this brilliant achievement.
