JAMMU: Two days Senior District Jammu Rollball Championship started today under the banner of Rollball Association of J&K at Skating Rink, M A Stadium, here. The event was declared open by Baljinder Singh, Divisional Sports Officer of J&K Sports Council (JKSC). The opening day witnessed preliminary round of the competition in both men and women sections. In men’s scheduled match, Gladiators held Team Fire Fox to a 5-5 draw. Hiteshwar remained top scorer with three goals from Fire Fox while Dilpreet contributed two goals for Gladiators. In another men’s match Jammu Panthers outplayed Jammu Tigers 10-09 in a close contest. Manvijay scored highest four goals for Jammu Panthers.
