JKPS Kunjwani shines in Khelo India Women League, CBSE North Zone Roller Skating, Inter-District Zonal Level Athletics Meet

JAMMU: JK Public School (JKPS) Kunjwani shined in Khelo India Women League, CBSE North Zone Roller Skating, Inter-District Zonal Level Athletics Meet.
In the Khelo India Women League (Judo), held on October 18, 2023, at Jammu, three students of JK Public School Kunjwani secured first positions, one student secured second position and six students secured third positions. The proud winners include Ridhima Jaral, Divyanshi Damral and Taniya Thappa, first position each, and Sanvi Sharma, second position, and Tanaya Airawat, Bhavya Bharti, Pragya Choudhary, Saba Choudhary, Mannat Rana, Vdeanshi Mahajan secured third position each.
In the CBSE Cluster’s North Zone Roller Skating championship, held from October from 17 to 21, 2023 at Mohali, Gurtej Singh of JK Public School won gold medal and selected for CBSE nationals.
In the Inter-District Zonal Level Athletics meet, held from October 18 to 21, 2023 at Jammu University, JK Public School won three gold medals, three silver medals and one bronze medal. The proud winners include Saksham Gupta won one gold medal in Shot Put and one gold medal in Discuss Throw. Fazil Khan won one gold medal in Discuss Throw and one silver medal in Shot Put. Digvijay Singh won silver medal in Long Jump. Lovesh Rathee and Vomika Sharma won silver medal each in Shot Put.
Director JK Educational Society, Shashi Chaudhary and School Principal Rajesh Rathore congratulated the winners and felicitated them in the school assembly.
They also lauded School Judo Coach Rajesh Verma, Skating Coach Varun Anand, Athletics Coach Shivdev Singh and HOD (Sports) Subash Chander for bringing laurels to the school and adding more feathers to the JKPS family.
