JK Public School, Kunjwani celebrates Gandhi Jayanti, Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti

JAMMU: JK Public School, Kunjwani, with great reverence, celebrated two momentous occasions included Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti.
This day not only marks the birthdays of two exemplary leaders but also provides us with profound teachings that continue to shape our nation and our lives.
‘Mahatma Gandhi The Apostle of Non-Violence’ Parthvi , a student of class VIII, presented the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi ji. She threw some light on Mahatma Gandhi’s life and principles, which have illuminated the world for generations and his unwavering commitment to non-violence (Ahinsa) has left an indelible mark on history. She stressed on Gandhi’s message of non-violence as a path to social and political change which is timeless.
Lal Bahadur Shastri, India’s second Prime Minister, was a man of unimpeachable integrity and simplicity. Our faculty member, Arjun, graced today’s assembly by telling about the teachings of Lal Bahadur Shastriji. He also awarded students about his famous slogans ‘Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan:” Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan,” which emphasizes the equal importance of our soldiers and farmers. Followed by amazing songs presented by JKPS faculty members and Jkiians. Infact, the audience was thrilled to witness the slogans delivered by Primary wing students with the motive of giving the message of Gandhi Ji and LalBahadurShastri Ji; thus promoting a sense of belonging amongst all.
Director JKPS, Shashi Chaudhary, graced today’s occasion by her presence.
JKPS Principal, Rajesh Rathore, in today’s special assembly, reflected on the teachings of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri, he asked students to remember that their legacies are not just historical artifacts; they are guiding stars in our lives. Their lessons of non-violence, truth, simplicity, and unity are more relevant than ever in our world today.
Therefore, Today’s celebration left a mark on jkiians and taught them how crucial it is to integrate these teachings into our lives, to be truthful, humble, and compassionate individuals who contribute positively to our society. By doing so, we honor the legacy of these great leaders and truly become responsible citizens of India.
