UDHAMPUR: A brick-laden truck skidded off the road and rolled into a rivulet in Udhampur district on Thursday, killing three people and injuring another, officials said. The accident took place in Dudu-Basantgarh area in the early hours. The injured person has been hospitalised. The deceased has been identified as dumper driver Kewal Sharma, son of Ramesh Kumar, resident of Kathar, Jammu; Sandeep Singh, son of Sansar Singh, resident of Raundomel and identity of the third deceased is yet to be ascertained. At the same time, the identity of the injured in this accident has been told as Ravi Kumar, son of son Jagdish Kumar resident Mang. Police have registered a case in this regard and the cause of the accident is being investigated.
