India is in a jubilant mood after the successful entry of Chandrayaan-3 crossing the threshold of Moon to enter inside. Despite full confidence that Chandrayaan will gain entry exactly at 6.04 PM on 23/08/2023, celebration before its entry was felt preposterous considering India’s bitter experience of 2019 and Russia making abortive bid to enter earlier than India’s Chandrayaan-3. Journey from India to Moon ended up in soft-landing at the south pole which the US, erstwhile Soviet Union and China had failed to achieve. India is the fourth country to enter the elite space club and the first country to land near Moon’s south pole. It is dawn of New India. Vikram’s Parakram is the result of restlessness of the scientists till the goal was achieved. The tears of the Indians in general and scientists in particular that had not dried up due to the 2019 failure have now been wiped out with the grand success in 2023. At last India conquers the Moon. Prayers of 140 crore Indians have been answered. Pragyan Rover rolls out of Vikram Lander. Now it is to roam Moon for 14 days. The scientists have acknowledged that they have learnt a lot from the 2019 failure. The areas of mistakes have been corrected now which resulted in the successful Chandrayaan-3 mission. Failure emboldens to go with determination to make impossible possible. Success leads for breaking new ground. Success and failure are two sides of a coin. Tiranga is on the Moon and to fly high on the Moon. Congratulations to ISRO Scientists.
