Ware House Traders takes out Tiranga Rally

Jammu: Traders of Ware House-Nehru Market on the eve of Independence Day took out a Tiranga Rally on Monday. A large number of Traders holding tricolour in hands came out of the biggest and oldest grain mandi of Jammu and marched from Ware House out gate to Bikram Chowk. Traders raised slogans in favour of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev Singh. The rally was part of a mega campaign “Meri Matti Mera Desh’ in which senior police officers of Jammu South also participated.
Addressing the rally Deepak Gupta, President Traders Federation Ware House Nehru Market Jammu said we should remember the sacrifice of freedom fighters Bhagat Singh, Shivaram Rajguru and Sukhdev Singh. “We should follow the footpaths of the martyrs”, he added. Gupta said after the abrogation of Article 370 people of the region got equal rights. “After the abrogation of Article 370 people of Jammu and Kashmir got equal rights, development is happening. We have never thought that in this way the development will happen in Jammu and Kashmir. Youths are getting employment on the basis of merit. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have ended 70 years of struggle,” said Deepak Gupta. “We never imagined the picture of the change that has come now in Jammu and Kashmir. We never thought that Jammu and Kashmir would be on the path of development. Women have got the biggest benefit due to the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A. They got their legal rights back. Now they can stay back here after their marriage, can have their home and can also do the job in Jammu and Kashmir,” said Deepak Gupta. Prominent among others present on the occasion were SP Jammu South Shaheen Wahid, Dysp Gandhi Nagar Sachit Sharma. Insp.
