2 Pakistani soldiers killed by Indian Army in retaliatory firing

Srinagar: 2 Pakistan Army soldiers killed in a retaliatory firing by the Indian Army in response to ceasefire violations from across the Line of Control, according to media reports.
The Pakistani jawans who were firing in Indian territory got a befitting reply from Indian soldiers. As a result, four posts of Pakistan were destroyed and two soldiers were killed. Those who died included Lance Naik Tariq and Sepoy Zaroof. This number may also increase because military sources say that three to four more soldiers present in the Pakistani post are also seriously injured. The Pakistani Army has also confirmed the death of two of its soldiers.

Drone movement noticed over IB in Jammu: BSF

Jammu: A drone was spotted flying over the International Border (IB) in Jammu and Kashmir’s R S Pura sector, BSF officials said on Thursday.
Alert BSF troops guarding the IB at a border outpost fired on the drone Wednesday night, forcing it to return back, the officials said.
There have been instances of Pakistan, its army and intelligence agencies using drones along the IB and LoC to ferry weapons, ammunition, explosive material and narcotics into Jammu and Kashmir in the past six months.
On November 29, alert security forces deployed on the International Border (IB) with Pakistan spotted a drone in Arnia sector of Jammu district.
On November 21, drone movement was noticed in Mendhar sector along the Line of Control (LoC) amid a surge in ceasefire violations by the Pakistani Army, according to sources.
Two drones were spotted and crossed the IB in Samba sector on November 20.
On June 20, a Pakistani drone loaded with a sophisticated rifle and seven grenades was shot down by the Border Security Force along the International Border in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.

According to information received from military sources, at 10 pm Pakistani troops opened fire, targeting Indian posts in Mankot sector along the Line of Control in Poonch district. Indian soldiers immediately retaliated by taking their positions. Indian soldiers understood that Pakistani soldiers are once again resorting to firing in the dark of night for the purpose of infiltrating terrorists. In such a situation, vigilant soldiers of India issued an alert in all the areas along the border so that terrorists do not infiltrate on this side under the cover of shelling.
