Young Aarush of JKPS Kunjwani makes a mark at Macau Open Roller Hockey Championship-2023

JAMMU: The sports culture at JK Public School has caught many a player’s heart and made them to reach greater heights.
Another golden feather was added to the Cap of JKPS Family, when Aarush Jain of Class VIII was picked for the U-14 Team that was selected to take part in the prestigious International Open Roller Hockey Championship at Macau from 27-30 July 2023.
It is a matter of pride for the JKPS Family that their Indian Team won the Bronze Medal, giving China a thumping defeat by 10-0.
It was a cut throat competition but the young Jkiian proved his mettle against all odds and displayed skills, grit and determination throughout the series, ultimately this young team raised the Indian Flag high and brought glory to their nation as well as alma mater.
Aarush was all praises for the school and his coach Varun Anand, who has been a guiding force and support for him.
He made a special reference to the school, which leaves no stone unturned to chisel out the true spirit of their sports persons and prepare them, not only for Inter-School, Intra-School and National level competitions, but also take them to the International arena.
The Director JK Educational Society Shashi Chaudhary and Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore lauded the stupendous achievement of Aarush, who scored two goals in the finals against China.
The school has a team of competent coaches, who act as mentors and infuse the spirit of ‘do and dare’ to their students, which makes them take up the challenges and prove their expertise wherever they go.
The School Principal, Rajesh Rathore congratulated the parents of Aarush for being so supportive and encouraging & for standing by his side like the Rock of Gibralter.
