LEH: The Leh Government on Wednesday re-allocated Departments among Administrative Secretaries.
“In accordance with the Ministry of Home Affairs order dated 08th June 2023, Saugat Biswas (IAS:2006) has been transferred and posted to the State of Arunachal Pradesh and relieved from UT Administration of Ladakh. Further Amit Sharma (IAS:2012) has joined the UT Administration of Ladakh on 03rd July 2023, accordingly, the re-allocation of the Departments among the Administrative Secretaries are ordered,” reads an order issued by Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Commissioner/ Secretary, General Administration Department, Leh.
As per order, Sanjeev Khirwar (IAS: 1994) has been posted as Administrative Secretary of School Education, Housing & Urban Development Department and Industries & Commerce Department; while Amit Sharma (IAS: 2012) has been posted as Administrative Secretary Rural Development Department, Information Technology Department, Science & Technology Department, Transport Department, and Disaster Management, Relief Rehabilitation & Reconstruction Department.
Further, Ravinder Kumar (IAS :2012), who is also holding the charge of Secretary to LG, is also assigned the Hospitality & Protocol Department, Estates Department and Civil Aviation Department in addition to the department already held by him as Administrative Secretary.
Additionally, Ravinder Kumar shall also hold the charge of the Resident Commissioner of UT of Ladakh.
