JAMMU: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha (JCMS) on Thursday started Langar for devotees of Amarnath pilgrimage which will be continue till the collimation of Yatra in the month of August 2023.
Under the chairmanship of Romesh Gupta, President of the Sabha along with Shiv Partap Gupta Sr. Vice President inaugurated the Langar which appeared very impressive as sadhus & other yatries raised loudly slogans” Bum Bum Bhole” which marked the luster of the occasion.
The Langar was organized under the overall supervision of Sanjay Mahajan, General Secretary of the Sabha.
C.P Gupta & Mukesh Mahajan have been looking after press related matters and protocol arrangements in the campus. Balbir Gupta and Yash Pal Gupta are the Incharge of Langar.
Romesh Chander Gupta (President of the Sabha) said as the government authorities has again provided an opportunity to the Sabha for the registration of Shri Amaranth Yatries for 2023.
Romesh Chander Gupta, said this, adding that it is a very pious service, and the Sabha hopes that those who are interested can donate under proper receipts to Sabha office at Mahajan Bhawan, Shalamar Road Jammu. He said that it is not one man show but result of the collective efforts. Even single penny donated for the noble cause will be fully utilized for Langer Sewa, he said.
Romesh Chander Gupta shared that Sabha has planned in such a way that it will be inaugurated by the prominent personalities of Jammu on every day and by the donors also when one has opted the date or day.
One can also donate drinking water bottles of small quantity as the consumption of drinking bottles is highly required in these days of summers.
