JAMMU: World Environment day – let’s celebrate the wonders of nature and commit to being responsible stewards of our planet. Together, we can make a difference.
To brighten a hope for a greener tomorrow, World Environment Day was celebrated at JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi with much enthusiasm.
Jakiians commenced the celebration by highlighting that With problems like deforestation and pollution, nature conservation and protection has become a very important issue of mankind.
The students spoke on the theme, “Importance of healthy environment-the foundation for a stable and productive society”.
A role play was performed by Jakiians about various environmental issues and how all of us can make a difference by making small adjustments in our daily rituals and habits.
The Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah motivated the Jakiians and expressed, “Let’s plant trees, conserve water, and promote renewable energy for a greener and cleaner future.”
She added, “Serving as a knowledgeable base, today’s enriching celebration has successfully delivered the message that if we all work together and conserve our Environment, we can live happily on the earth.”
She further advised the students and motivated them to think globally and act locally to heal Planet Earth.
A mass quiz on Environment day was organised by the quiz master, the Principal herself. The winners of the quiz were rewarded by the Principal.
