JAMMU: Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, on Tuesday appointed Dr. Shiv Darshan Singh Jamwal as Head of Police of Union Territory of Ladakh.
Jamwal has been transferred from his post of Additional Director General of Police J&K to the new posting.
“With the approval of the Competent Authority, Dr. Shiv Darshan Jamwal, IPS (AGMUT:1995), Additional Director General of Police, has been transferred from Jammu & Kashmir and appointed as Head of Police, UT of Ladakh, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post and until further orders”, reads an order.
