JAMMU: Apni Party Provincial Secretary/District President Jammu Urban, Dr Rohit Gupta on Friday called on Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr Ramesh Kumar.
During interaction with the Div Com Jammu, Dr Rohit projected the development related demands of the residents of Subash Nagar, Shanti Nagar.
He demanded construction of a park close to Govt Quarters on the vacant JDA land and accordingly, the exercise machines should be installed for the usage of elderly persons and children. He said that the residential colonies in Subash Nagar and Shanti Nagar have no enjoyment park for the children or elderly persons that can be used by them to overcome the stressed lifestyle.
He said that the authorities should also install some exercise equipment so that they can be used by the elderly persons and children. He also discussed issues of basic amenities, clean drinking water and unscheduled electricity cuts.
On hearing him patiently, the Divisional Commissioner Jammu assured that he would look into the demands and accordingly, the issue will be addressed.
