Man ties dog to bike and drags it on the road, arrested by Srinagar Police

SRINAGAR: Acting tough against social crimes in Srinagar district. Srinagar police has arrested a bike/scooty rider who had tied a dog & was dragging him.

A video went viral on social media wherein a scooty  rider had tied a dog & was dragging this dog. The accused is identified as Ab Rashid Dar Son of Gh Rasool Dar of Gaw Marg Shalimar Srinagar.

In this Case, FIR 31/2023 u/s 429 IPC & sec 11 of prevention of cruelty to animals act was registered at Nishat Police station and Scooty was also seized.
