47 review petitions in Roshni case adjourned to January 28

JAMMU: A Division Bench of J&K High Court comprising Chief Justice (A) Rajesh Bindal and Justice Sanjay Dhar hearing Roshni review petitions for some time, adjourned the same for January 28, 2021 for hearing of all matters together as Court observed that all matters could not be heard and now the High Court would be closed for winter vacations. Today 47 review petitions were listed which were adjourned due to poor connectivity.
The J&K UT was represented by D C Raina Advocate General with Aseem Sawhney Addl. Advocate General who submitted before the DB that he was ready to argue review petition filed by UT Government.
Other counsels who appeared included Z A Shah, Jehangir Iqbal Ganai, Azhar Ul Amin, Altaf Haqqani, Sunil Sethi, Gagan Basotra, Rohit Kohli, R A Jan, Monika Kohli and battery of lawyers appeared. S S Ahmed and Ankur Sharma also appeared.
