Anti Drugs Week celebration

SRINAGAR: Anti Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) J&K on Tuesday organised a rally in Srinagar against the use of illicit drugs.
ANTF, created by the Government of Jammu and Kashmir recently, has strived hard to curb the menace of drugs trade and peddling in J&K.
“Many drug dealers and inter-state smugglers have been arrested and huge consignments of narcotics worth crores seized by ANTF so far,” the official said.
Today an awareness programme was organized by ANTF in Srinagar against the use of illicit drugs.
The focus of this awareness programme was to make the general public aware about the ill effects of use of illicit drugs on our society, the official said and appealed to general public to come forward and share information regarding those who are involved in this illicit trade and peddling.
The programme was hailed by all sections of society.
